Welcome to Osoyoos Dental Centre. We are happy you chose us for your dental care needs. We aim to provide the highest dental care while maintaining a professional and friendly environment for you and your family. In keeping with our standard of care to a level that serves you and your dental needs best, we ask you to please observe the following guidelines.
Cancellation Policy
Dental appointments are considered confirmed at the time of booking. This means we are reserving time with the doctor, assistant, or hygienist as well as operatory space required. We fully sterilize and prepare the space with required materials for your specific procedure, and we schedule our team members according to our appointment bookings.
As a courtesy, we provide you with 2 reminders before your appointment date by text, email, or phone. You are fully responsible for canceling and rebooking any appointments you have made.
We understand that things happen that are unforeseen. We are happy to change or cancel appointments if you provide us with 2 business days’ notice (Monday through Friday). This makes it more manageable for our team to reserve the open appointment for another patient. If less than 2 business days’ notice is given for any cancellation or no show, we reserve the right to charge a missed appointment fee as set out by the BC Dental Association fee guide of $146.00.
Payment and Insurance Information
Full payment is expected at the time services are performed. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, or cash.
Your dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer (if through your workplace), and the insurance company. Your dental treatment plan set out by the doctor is based according to your needs, not your insurance coverage.
Dental insurance companies never contact/notify dental offices of any changes to your specific policy, and it is required that you check with your plan for eligibility and coverage verification. If you have specific coverage or annual benefit coverage inquiries, please contact the company directly for up-to-date information.
Your portion of payment is due at the time of treatment. As a courtesy, our office will submit dental claims to your insurance carrier directly. If there is a portion owing after insurance payment is made, you will be billed and responsible for payment.
